Inconel 601 has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature, good resistance to carbonization, good oxidation resistance, sulfur-containing. atmosphere, good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature, and good resistance to stress corrosion. Cracking performance 601 has a high creep rupture strength due to control of carbon content and grain size, so 601 is recommended for use in fields above 500°C.
